Aircraft Market Keeps Flying High
Aircraft sales market keeps expanding worldwide, from Europe to Asia, aircraft demands are on the rising and deliveries of new aircraft are coming from major aircraft manufacturers almost on a daily basis.
Economic development of some countries is increasing the need of several airlines all over the world to expand the fleet. Many airlines are signing contracts with manufacturers previewing the future and adding options on the contracts that allow them to expand initial aircraft deliveries number to more units, this way they don't lose the opportunity to receive more aircraft if passengers traffic became a problem. |
With the strong economic development in Russia, expectations are that passenger traffic will grow so much that the airline will need to prepare the future. So recently the Russian airline informed that they will need at least 900 aircraft to give response to the this major passengers increase, actually the airliner operates around 500 aircraft but expansion is on the way for the next two decades.
Aircraft industry is implementing several measures in order to deal with this huge amount of traffic in the sky because of the world pollution and CO2 emissions. Engines are being tested with new specifications in order to respect CO2 emissions and fuel efficiency. The Airbus A380 is another type of answer, as an aircraft with this dimension can carrier even more people.
New fuel more environment friendly is under testing due to high price of petroleum, with Airbus and Virgin already testing new ideas.
But how big are expectations on the aircraft rising market in the next years, if anyone need more answers, just think that on the other side of the planet, China is taking steps to create a company that will develop and produce larger passenger aircraft. The new manufacturer will produce jetliners with seating capacity for more than 150 passengers, will Boeing, a major player in Asia be affected, its to soon to know.
